Let's heat the spring!

La primavera por fin ha llegado y por la puerta grande!

Tras las intensas lluvias de las semanas pasadas las temperaturas han subido y ha sido irresistible no escoger un outfit más ligero para enseñar las canillas y luchar contra la palidez del largo invierno!!

En esta ocasión me he decantado por uno de mis estampados favoritos llevando una camisa Tropical Print.
Y es que a pesar de mi blancura nuclear es ponerme unos shorts, unas bambas y me da la sensación de que es más fácil sonreír!

He podido disfrutar de este atuendo y soleadísimo día en la playa de Torimbia, uno de los arenales más bellos de Llanes y sino fijaros en las magníficas vistas que se pueden apreciar desde su mirador. Un lugar muy concurrido especialmente en verano.

¡No dejéis de visitarlo y de enseñar carnes! El verano está a la vuelta de la esquina

Spring has finally arrived and through the front door!

After heavy rains of past weeks temperatures have risen and been irresistible not choose a lighter outfit to teach thin legs and combat against the long winter pallor!

This time I opted for one of my favorite prints wearing a shirt Tropical Print.

And is that despite my nuclear whiteness is to wear shorts, plimsolls and gives me a feeling that is easier to smile!

I've been enjoying this attire and sunniest day in Torimbia Beach, one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Llanes, just have a look of magnificent seaviews that you can be admire from its viewpoint. A busy place especially in summer.

Don't fail to visit it and show meats! Summer is just around the corner

El Faro de Lastres

El Faro del Cabo de Lastres es uno de esos lugares de Asturias a los que he estado unido a él desde muy pequeño. Siempre recordaré aquellas mañanas de vacaciones o de fin de semana caminando acantilado abajo con mi padre para ir a pescar o recoger algunos fruits de mer. Y por supuesto tampoco olvidaré el terror que nos provocaba la posibilidad de encontrarnos con la Guardia Civil esperándonos junto al faro a nuestro regreso!

En la actualidad el faro se ha hecho muy famoso -al igual que la villa de Lastres- por haber acogido el rodaje de la serie Doctor Mateo 2009 - 2011. Llegar hasta él (en coche) es muy sencillo ya que se encuentra muy próximo a Lastres y está bien indicado. Además dispone de una pequeña zona donde aparcar el coche, ya que tal y cómo indica la señalización los últimos metros se deben recorrer a pie ante la imposibilidad de espacio para aparcar junto al faro.

Por último, decir que todas las fotografías de este post han sido tomadas con La Sardina Lomography - película 400 ISO Lomography-.

  Cape Lastres Lighthouse is one of those places in Asturias to which I've been attached to it since very young. I will always remember those mornings of holidays and weekend cliff walking down with my father to go fishing or pick shellfish. And of course I won't forget the terror that caused us the opportunity to meet with the Guardia Civil by the lighthouse waiting for us on our return!

Today the beacon has become very famous -like Lastres Village- for hosting the filming of Doctor Mateo series (based on English Doc Martin series) from 2009 to 2011. Reach it (by car) is very simple since it is very close to Lastres and is well signposted. It also has a small area to park the car as it indicates as signaling the last meters must walk the impossibility of parking space next to the lighthouse.

Finally,  all the photographs in this post were taken with La Sardina Lomography - Lomography 400 ISO film.

Mercadillo LABoral

Este fin de semana se ha celebrado la primera cita del mercadillo LABoral de este 2013. Y como en anteriores ediciones el LAB Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial ha reunido a unos 60 diseñadores asturianos emprendedores que expondrán todo tipo de productos originales.

Para esta edición los organizadores del evento han creado un sello bajo la marca Hand Made with Love con el que "se garantiza que los productos expuestos reúnen unos estándares mínimos de calidad: auto-producción, diseños creados por los asistentes y productos diferenciados".

Y como viene siendo habitual en este mercadillo se ha podido encontrar obra gráfica, camisetas, prendas de vestir, chapas, fotografías, postales, bolsos, cinturones, objetos de decoración para el hogar, joyería o zapatos, entre otras cosas. Todas son creaciones originales, artesanales y únicas realizadas por jóvenes diseñadores que trabajan en el Principado de Asturias.

A pesar de que los productos expuestos en muchos stands cuentan con precios que en mi opinión no son muy populares, hay que saber valorar la originalidad y apreciar la exclusividad del diseño en el producto, ya que en ocasiones no será sencillo encontrar los artículos fuera del mercadillo.

¡Dar una vuelta por este mercadillo y visitar el LAB Centro de Arte es un plan magnífico para un fin de semana! 

This weekend was held the first date of  LABoral market by 2013. As in previous editions, the LAB Center for Art and Industrial Creation bring together some 60 designers Asturian entrepreneurs who exhibited all kinds of original products.

FREE access! Schedule Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14 from 12.00 to 22.00

For this edition, the organizers have created a branded seal Hand Made with Love with which "ensures that the products offered meet minimum quality standards: auto-production, designs created by attendees and differentiated products."

And as usual in this market you can find prints, t-shirts, clothing, sheets, photographs, postcards, bags, belts, decorative items for the home, jewelry and shoes, among other things. All are original, handmade and unique work of young designers working in Asturias.

Although the products on display at many stands have prices which in my opinion aren't very popular, it must be able to assess the originality and appreciate the uniqueness of the product design, and the fact that sometimes not easy to find this items outside the market.

Take a walk around the market and visit the LAB Art Center is a great plan for a weekend! Enjoy!

Mid Season Sales

Sí, por fin han llegado las Mid Season Sales o rebajas de media temporada. Una buena idea para reactivar las ventas en plena campaña primavera / verano con jugosos descuentos, aunque eso sí, hay que saber que la rebaja no se aplica a la totalidad del catálogo. Otra pena añadida es que no todas las firmas se han lanzado a ofrecer estos descuentos previos a las rebajas.

Si estáis interesados en adquirir nueva ropa de temporada a buen precio a continuación os muestro las Mid Season Sales en algunas de mis tiendas preferidas. Y aunque podréis encontrar las prendas rebajadas en las tiendas también os podéis dejar llevar por la compra online!! rápida, directa y muchas de ellas no cobran por gastos de envío!

Y recordar que siempre se pueden encontrar precios populares en tiendas de segunda mano, mercadillos...

Yes, it have finally reached the Mid Season Sales. A good idea to revive sales in full spring / summer campaign with juicy discounts. But, you should know that lower cuts don't apply to the entire catalog. Another pity added is that not all brands have been launched to offer these discounts prior to sales.

If you are interested in buying new seasonal clothing at a good value now I show the Mid Season Sales in some of my favorite stores. And while you can find the lowered clothes in stores also you can be carried along by online shopping! direct, quick and many of them don't charge for shipping!!

Baila Bamba

Hoy continúo haciendo un repaso a las prendas que ya lucen en las tiendas para esta temporada primavera / verano.

En esta ocasión os mostraré mis queridas bambas. Porque ¡No hay verano sin ellas! Aunque se pueden encontrar en una infinidad de lugares, tiendas de cualquier marca, mercadillos... os voy a mostrar las que a priori más me han llamado la atención por el momento.

Pull & Bear 

Si el año pasado fue el turno de las bambas con suela de esparto, este año ha dado paso a las bambas con estampados tropicales (Bambas Print). Y de ello ha tomado buena nota Pull & Bear que siguen la estela fijada por Vans y rápidamente -Pull- ya las ha puesto a la venta en sus tiendas y shop on-line a un precio de 29,99€. Otras opciones más asequibles nos las ofrecen H&M (14,95€) y Primark con un precio de tan sólo 7€.

Además todos los aficionados a las bambas estamos de enhorabuena ya que la marca abanderada Zapatillas Victoria por fin ha abierto su tienda on-line donde se pueden encontrar modelos de todas sus colecciones en todos sus números.

Por último recordar que no sólo de bambas y playeras viven los pies, otras alternativas de calzado veraniego son las menorquinas y alpargatas, cómodas y ligeras para el calor.

Today I continue doing a review of the clothes in the stores for this spring / summer season.

This time I'll show you my beloved bambas (plimsolls or trainers). Because There is no summer without them! Although you can find in a lot of places, any brand shops, markets ... Here I'll show that a priori have attracted my attention at the moment.

H&M

If last year was the turn of the Esparto soled plimsolls, this year has given way to tropical-print (Bambas Print or Print Plimsolls). And Pull & Bear has taken note followed the path set by Vans and quickly -Pull-  put on sale in stores and on-line shop at a price of 29.99 €. Other options offered and more affordable are H&M (14.95 €) and Primark with a price of only € 7.

Finally, remember that not only plimsolls and trainers live feet, summer footwear alternatives are menorquinas and espadrilles, comfortable and light to heat.
